Fairfield Prep and Amity Win State Titles
It is the 14th and 15th state titles won by SCC Teams since 1995
Fairfield Prep captured the Division I state title - its sixth title since 2000 - with a 5-3 win over Notre Dame-Fairfield at Ingalls Rink. The Jesuits finished the season 13-10-1. In the Division II championship game, Amity, the 2008 SCC Division II champion, defeated Fairfield, 5-1, to win its first-ever state title... The Spartans finished 19-6-1... It is also the fifth straight year a SCC team won a state title... Congratulations to both teams!

The divisional set-up is set for the 2007-08 ice hockey season. Lyman Hall is now in Division II giving the two divisions eight teams each.
Division I: East Haven, Fairfield Prep, Hamden, Hand, North Haven, Notre Dame, West Haven, Xavier
Division II: Amity, Branford, Cheshire, Guilford, Lyman Hall, Milford, New Haven/Shelton, Sheehan
2006-07 Recap
Fairfield Prep Wins Division I State Title; East Haven Finishes Second in Division II
Fairfield Prep, the 2007 SCC Division I regular-season champion, captured the Division I state title with an exciting 3-2 overtime win over Notre Dame-Fairfield at Ingalls Rink. The Jesuits finished the season 19-3-1. In Division II championship game, East Haven fell to Immaculate, 3-2. The Yellowjackets finish 12-10-1.

2005-06 RECAP
Hand (Div. II) and Cheshire (Div. III) Capture State Titles
(3-18-06) - Two SCC schools - Hand and Cheshire - captured state titles in their respective classes. In the Division II final at Ingalls Rink in New Haven, third-seeded Hand defeated top-seeded New Canaan, 1-0. In the Division III final also at Ingalls Rink, second-seeded Cheshire topped top-seeded Newington, 2-0. One other SCC team - Hamden - reached the Division I championship game, but fell to Notre Dame of Fairfield, 4-2. The two titles bring the SCC's total to 12 since the league's formation in 1994-05.
