The 2010 SCC Cheerleading Competition was held on Saturday, February 6 at North Haven High School...Sixteen schools participated in four divisions: Novice: Career, Wilbur Cross and Hillhouse; Co-Ed: Branford; 14-under: West Haven, Hand and Lyman Hall; 15-over: Mercy, East Haven, Sacred Heart Academy, Foran, North Haven, Shelton, Cheshire, Sheehan and Jonathan Law

THE 2008 SCC CHEERLEADING COMPETITION HELD FEBRUARY 2 at SHELTON HIGH SCHOOL.

The Southern Connecticut Conference hosted its third Cheerleading Competition on Saturday, February 2 at Shelton High School... Foran (15-over champion), Shelton (15-over runner-up), Derby (14-under champion), Branford (co-ed champion) and Wilbur Cross (non-building champion) were recognized... The SCC hosted its second Cheerleading Competition on Saturday, February 3, at Shelton High School...Thirteen SCC schools participated in the competition in three different categories – 14-under squad size (Hamden - champion), 15-over squad size (Shelton - champion), and co-ed (Branford - champion)... SCC Hosts First Ever Cheerleading Competition

Shelton (15-over), Hamden (14-under) and Branford (co-ed) win

2/04/06 - The Southern Connecticut Conference hosted its first-ever Cheerleading Competition on Saturday, February 4, at Shelton High School. Fourteen SCC schools participated in the competition in three different categories – 14-under squad size, 15-over squad size, and co-ed.

Schools that competed included Amity (14-under), Branford (co-ed), Cheshire (15-over), Daniel Hand (14-under), Derby (14-under), East Haven (15-over), Foran (15-over), Guilford (14-under), Hamden (14-under), Jonathan Law (15-over), North Haven (15-over), Sacred Heart Academy (15-over), Shelton (15-over) and West Haven (15-over).

Champion- SHELTON (89.5 pts)

1st runner-up - NORTH HAVEN (82.5)

2nd runner-up - WEST HAVEN (74.5)

14-under Division

Champion - HAMDEN (88 pts)
