SCC Hosts First Ever Unified Basketball Event |
|
2/05/08 The New Haven Athletic Center (480 Sherman Parkway) was the site of the SCC Unified Sports Basketball Tournament on Monday, February 4.... Participating schools included Amity, West Haven, Wilbur Cross/Hillhouse, Hamden, Shelton, Jonathan Law, Lyman Hall, Cheshire and East Haven... The student-athletes played several games and were treated to some pizza and soda and a SCC Unified Sports t-shirt... Congratulations to all the participants! Special thanks to Jon Capone (athletic director at West Haven High School) for coordination of the event and Joe Canzanella (athletic director - New Haven Public Schools) for allowing the league to use the Athletic Center!
